Longulf India
Established 1996 in Mumbai, Longulf India has grown considerably.
Whilst it provides sourcing, local support and the logistical services required by head office and the other Longulf offices, it is today a significant standalone Trading House in its own right. Its principal focus is the diverse agricultural base which earns India the nickname “the garden of the world”. They have particular expertise in the export of agricultural commodities and food raw materials.
One of its key products is pure basmati rice. Working direct from paddy with selected growers and processors Longulf India is able to provide the control and quality assurance required from buyers of this special crop. Major buyers of basmati have entrusted their sourcing to Longulf India who in turn manage the entire supply chain.
Other major agri and food products supplied include mango pulp, skimmed milk powders, liquid glucose, tea, coffee, spices, sesame seed, nuts and pulses, raw cotton.
Amongst the non agricultural products traders specialise in a range of industrial chemicals, waste paper and plastics.
